Very good antique condition

 

A wonderful conversion in very good antique condition, with a rich 15-carat yellow-gold colour and set with the original rose-cut diamond in the centre. 

There are two small neat holes in the back where the pin of the original piece was removed, and some very small scuffs to the top right of the front of the heart as expected with a piece of this age, although these are not at all noticeable.  The diamond has a tiny surface scratch to a small section; this can only be seen under a jeweller's loupe and does not detract from the beauty of this piece in any way.

Stamped '15CT' for 15-carat gold on the back of the heart and with faint hallmarks for Birmingham.
