This SUPER snake chain is incredibly unusual as it is very hard to find Albert chains in a snake style.  The 6.5mm wide slinky snake makes a fantastic impact and looks amazing worn as an upper layer with a variety of chain link styles on your other layers.
 
All components are in excellent condition, with the snake chain in wonderful order, likely helped by the lower carat gold which is likely to have increased the strength of the piece. 
 
The antique dog clips are recent additions, sourced to compliment the rest of the Albert and are perfectly matched to one another in gold colour and size.  There is a slight variation in colour between the snake chain and the dog clips/t-bar, with the snake chain being a dark gold tone, the dog clips and t-bar being a mellow gold colour, and with the connecting rings having warm undertones.
 
All components are Victorian era, with the two dog clips and t-bar all marked and tested for 9-carat gold and the snake chain sections unmarked but testing as 6.5/7-carat gold, with the low carat elements making her an extremely budget friendly find! 
 
Styling tip: Wear her with the t-bar off centre and the dog clips positioned at the front to create a fabulous neckmess - you can also attach your favourite charms, pendants and extenders to the double dog clips!  There are so many ways to wear this incredible chain.
