Reimagined from a traditional clasp into a versatile styling connector, this piece is designed to extend chains, attach pendants or act as a subtle focal point within a layered look. Its slightly more compact, midi scale makes it especially wearable, while the arrowhead detail adds a unique design element rarely seen in this format.
The arrowhead is set with three vibrant green emeralds, arranged within a finely worked yellow gold setting that contrasts beautifully against the soft, warm tone of the antique bolt ring. The square-edged form of the clasp adds a slightly sharper, more architectural feel compared to softer rounded examples.
Crafted in 18ct gold, the bolt ring retains its original character, with light surface dings consistent with age — one of which is in fact a French eagle head hallmark to the reverse. A secondary stamp is present to the bail, likely a maker’s mark. A faint solder mark is visible at the join of the arrowhead under close inspection, otherwise the piece remains in excellent antique condition with a strong, secure spring.
